"There are thousands of window film dealers in the country, but only a select few have been chosen to be part of the 3M Prestige Dealer network. They were selected because of their ability to offer quality work, their extensive product knowledge and their ability to serve their customers to the highest standards. At 3M, we not only wanted to offer the world?s finest window film, we wanted to be certain they were offered by the world?s leading window film dealers."

Professional Window Tinters Proudly Serving All of South Florida

Until recently, most window films that rejected heat were tinted dark, used metal or were highly reflective. 3M not only invented window film, but was the first to develop an optically clear window film that used nano-technology instead of metals. Nano-technology works with materials that are over a thousand times smaller than the width of a hair. This technology allowed 3M to create a patented window film with hundreds of layers that is less than the thickness of a Post-it® Note.

This technology allowed 3M to create a film that delivers the highest performance possible without metals which can corrode and interfere with mobile or cell phone signals.

With the Prestige Series, your home or office exterior stays beautiful and from the interior, your view is as clear as your original window.

Reflectivity Lower than Glass

From the inside, traditional window films make it difficult to see outside, especially at night when interior lights are on. In the daytime, the outside reflection tends to act and look like a mirror.

In addition they reject up to 97% of the sun's infrared light to help keep your home and office cool and lower your energy bills.

3M Window Films are designed to reduce the effects of solar heat and visible light on your furnishings and will block up 99.9% of the sun's harmful ultraviolet rays, which are the single largest cause of fading. While no film can stop fading completely, our films dramatically slow the process of fading to keep your home looking beautiful.

For most people, there are two primary reasons for installing window films: rejecting heat to increase comfort, and to keep damaging UV rays from fading furniture. The window films in this collection do both remarkably well.

The On Angle Test

Prestige Series Films have also been tested and demonstrate superior performance when the sun is high and on angle?during the hottest parts of the day. Some films that may claim similar performance are only comparable when tested perpendicular to the sun, which only happens at the relatively cool times of sunrise and sunset. When the sun is strongest and generating the most BTUs, Prestige Window Films are out-performing all other brands.

Clearly, these films demonstrate that no one has more experience with window film than 3M. The company received its first patent for window film in 1966, and for decades has remained the world leader in the development of new and innovative adhesives and films.
